Thanks, she was a garage queen when we bought her and she only sees sunny days for us too. I work hard to keep her clean and polished. Just ordered more supplies from Autogeek.

Getting a new wheel stud installed because the track says you have to have the right amount of lug nuts. Mechanic couldn't take my brakes off. I was so close to laughing

Well you see im 18 and parents wont let me get another stang... I had a v6 and that gt. I also had a f150. So I got the caddy and actually ended up blowing the original engine. I did the whole swap and mods for about $6500. That includes a 34k mile engine snd transmission, driveshaft, axles, differential and 3.73 gears, longtube headers, 4" intake, cam, injectors, tuned pcm, and stage 3 clutch which alone was $1250 for the clutch set up. I went from a 50 lb flywheel to an 18 lb. Im thinking of selling this car and buying a 00-03 f150 SCREW 4x4 and doing a 5" lift, 18x9 rockstar xd wheels, 35x12.5x18 toyo open country m/t and a bunch of other stuff. I'd love to get another stang but I think my next big build will be another Cadillac. I want to do a 427 lsx fully built and forged with a 4.2l kenne bell blower and the hellion hell raiser kit (twin turbos that work with the supercharger for compound boost). Maybe build a gt for a daily driver though.

As far as wheels, theyre now black. And yes she is a sleeper. Im thinking of getting the wheels widened in the back to fit a 275 tire

Im the exact same. Compare a stock Chevy to a stock ford. Ford will always be better. Even with mods a chevy is still a pos in my opinion. Now if you take gm products and put quality and time into building an engine (which gm didnt) then it becomes a respectable engine. Picking your shell depends on what you're looking at. Picking a Cadillac cts is something no one would ever guess. It has 4 doors and all luxury interior. From my build I have it to where in 5th and 6th you cant even hear the car. Now that's luxury ride. But if you're just cruising then stomp on it, you can hear hell break loose. Ive been able to get her to do a rolling burnout in 4th before and ive hit 180 in 6th without maxing it. I could possibly hit 185 max is my guess.

I paid for half of my first car (99 v6 Mustang) and did some mods with my money and then sold it. With money I saved up I got that centennial gt and modded it. When it totalled I bought a 2002 f150 and 2006 Cadillac cts. I blew the motor in the cts and sold my truck and used my money to buy the parts so I could swap on it. My parents dont help pay for my cars or mods and I pay my gas and insurance as well.

Dedication to working hard (60 hours a week during the summer) will get you what you want. Just gotta set your mind to it.

But it makes it that much sweeter haha

Well Im thinking of sellin the caddy in a month or two and I'd like to get a f150 but my mom says no and wants me to lease a new vehicle.
Here's her logic: if you have problems you just take to a dealership and its free

My logic: if im going to make payments, on a lease you lose it all if you don't buy. On a used vehicle you get to keep it and get return on investment if you sell. And on a f150 if problems come up, junk yards are littered with them and they use the same parts as the ford Explorer so problems can be fixed easy.

Who is right?

It's always the guy that's right when it comes to cars. Most girls see a problem wrong and think dealership instantly.

You are because even if you buy it after the lease they fck u on the price..
