u should ask this ? on the pre 05 v6 section so u can get more answers. but the shaker wont add u power its a waste of money. i do think they look real sexy though if u get the mach one hood with it. so if u want a few more hp on ur sixxer get the tune and a CAI.

Cai and shaker is a good combo as the shaker draws in cold air but at the same time you would need a ram air style cai such as the airaid. But it doesnt add many horses tk have a shaker so I would rather spend money on ring and pinion gears (3.73 for standard and 4.10 for auto) and a posi lock (t-Lock) differential. It would still be cheaper than a shaker hood at having the gears, posi lock, and gears. Gears don't add hp but is a force multiplier and a posi lock spins both tires rather than just one. Also makes it safer. I had a cai and shaker on my gt before i wrecked it. If you would like hood pics or engine bay pics, got to my thread "new mustang gt on the lot"

Well, mom wouldnt let me buy tires, and I work at freakin discount tire! One night I was driving and it started to sprinkle outside and I was going 55 in a 70. They are doing construction on a major highway and I hit the section of road that all the water drains to. All 4 tires hydroplaned at the same time and I couldn't control anything. It did a 540 on the highway into a ditch and hit a guard rail and then 180 back on to the highway. I have pics posted in another thread I started. Anyways... I paid 8k for the gt and got 11k from insurance. Plus I got to pull off every single performance and aftermarket part. So I basically tore apart the car haha! Took the pedals, gears, wheels, brake pads, headlights, side scoops, basically everything I could get away with and just a little more. Parents claimed it was my fault -yeah, because im God and can control hydroplaning with bald freakin tires. I bought a 2006 cadillac cts 3.6 1sc 6 speed standard. I paid 10k for it and it has 90k miles. Ive put a grill on, polished exhaust tips, and sueded interior. I plan on on wheels, lower, magnaflow exhaust and 20% tint. And some more goodies eventually. Heres the wheels. My CTS is
