Yeah I have seen the euro S550 tails and I'm not a fan. But these are pretty damn sexy. I've never see anything like them either.

Thanks. Some days, I wish my '11 rear bumper was a '13-'14 to fill that little gap when seen from side angle. And then there's days I'm Lovin my rear. Click image for larger version

Nice! I'm tempted to do stripes thru my rear...but maybe in gloss black.

Yes. I actually ordered it. But when I got it in the mail and tried it on, it didn't look right. It actually looked 'busy' with more 'seams' or little 'gaps' around the taillights. Plus the black gloss sheen didn't totally match so I returned it. I'm sure it looks great on other mustangs.

Looks like your making progress as far as using the forum, congrats on getting the pic up! I know you have been planning the 1/2 mile event for a while, hopefully you acheived what you wanted and you enjoyed it.

Thanks for the kind words Steve96, it has been a long year and half almost for my. I have been fighting health issues since my mid twenties. I was an eighty hour per week workaholic never slowing down. I was placed on blood pressure medications, plural, when I was 18 but the junk made me fill bad and I was an a Commercial Construction Estimater and Project Manager from about the age of 22 and when I had a really large project coming up I would stop taking the medication for a couple of months and was almost ready to be put on a heart transplant list by the age of 38. I won't get into the hole storey here, don't want to get kicked off the forum but I would like to update anyone interested in where I am at with my car. I had a major flare up with my health that really set me back and I developed a major case of
55 Chevyitis which divided my budget but the Mustang is unbelievable the way I have it handleing and performing.
Where would be the appropriate heading to give and update on my Project Mustang for anyone interested?

Good to hear that you're still alive and kicking. More pictures of the 54 Chevy would be awesome!

If you'd like to give us an update on the Mustang then head over to the 99-04 GT section and make a thread there. I'm sure there are plenty of people wanting to see an update on it.

Once you have owned a Corvette you just can't be without one, bought my first one when I was 18 years old and no I wasn't from a wealthy family. My Dad worked for 36 years in a textile mill and truck farmed and we sold what we we didn't eat, freeze and can and give to family and neighbors that didn't farm. I hired out on other farms when caught up with my work at home then went to work at an Uncles large full service Standard Oil Station and my Dad let me and my Brother have a percentage of the water Mellon and Cantelope crop that we sold at our front yard stand.

Just wondering how you did in the 1/2 mile?
I am heading to the Silver States Classic next month and they have a 1/2 mile and 1 mile run which I'd really like to try.

I really like Corvettes and had a 1961 with 340hp 327. I had a lot of fun with it. Last year when I sold my drag car because of health reasons I looked at the Corvettes and fell in love with the Grand Sports. The only issue is that with my health issues it's really hard to get in and out of them. I can fall into the drivers seat.........have to have help getting out. For that reason I'm driving a Mustang instead of Corvette.
