Seen at a car show last month a 1970 Mercury Cougar XR-7 convertible in excellent condition with a 351-C engine. Just beautiful!

Seen at show last month 1969 or 70 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler with 428 CJ engine, Hurst 4 speed. Very rare car built for NASCAR homolgomation to compete with Plymouth Super Bird and Charger Daytona.

1976 Cobra II This car won a trophy for people's choice. I wanted one of these soooo bad when I was in high school in the mid 70's. Didn't realize they were so detuned they were only pushing about 130 HP. At the time I was driving a nice 70 fastback with a 302 and side pipes. I still really like the look of these. Guess its just a longing for my youth thing. They are so small compared to any Mustang. Though there are some real nice ones with built up V8's on a site called theforgottenpony.com

Didn't remember that Farah Fawcett drove one of these on Charlie's Angels.

Seen at a show back in May. A 197? Australian Falcon. 351-C. Has some resemblance to an American Torino, and Mach-1. Also looks a lot like a Mad Max car.

I love these! . I'd love to have a plain Jane blue Mustang II as a daily driver.

A guy on another forum I'm on sold his GT and bought a Subaru. He had it 6 months and missed the power of his Stang so much, he sold the Subaru and bought a new Mustang. You can be sure with depreciation he took a bath on that transaction. So be sure before you switch.

Dunno why ppl like the subie's so much. I respect the power of the STI's, etc. But, it's not a sports car, in the traditional sense.

I would never trade a mustang for one, but I still wouldn't mind owning an sti for my dd

It doesn't take much upgrading to make an STI faster then a new 5.0 I was heavily considering an STI before I bought my mustang. The biggest down side was that the nearest Subaru dealer is 150 miles away.

They'd have to do quite a bit to pass you on the hwy.

When I was stock, I got pulled on by a new STI with only a boost controller, upgraded intercooler and a full exhaust. Not by much but none the less I was pissed.

I haven't gotten to run one since my Boss Mani CAI & tune. Hopefully I'll get some exhaust done before I cross paths with him again.
