If I wanted to use the 1,2,D everytime I drive, will it hurt my tranny with my stock shifter?

Prime example.
Do you think people would pay the money for them and extra to have them installed just to make it look 'pretty'????
When I was looking at a 13' 5.0 auto, ratchet shifter was gonna be my first upgrade

Oh wow, I'm bought with the ratchet shifter. My Tranny is bad so it shifts hard from 1st to 2nd when it's in D but it shifts smooth when I shift up from 1st. I hate the fact that it doesn't shift to 4th or 3rd when I want it to though. So the ratchet shifter will do it when I want right?

please elaborate. I've heard nothing is different, sure shifts are smoother from 1,2,D. But that IMO is not worth $200, just get a j mod. That is why I say it is not much different.

That's why you couple it with a manual valve body. Perks of an auto with the perks of a manual.

So how good do you think the shifter with a j-mod would be? I was thinking about doing the j mod when summer comes around

Very nice. I think I'm going to clock my turbo, cut down the cast outlet, and couple my IC piping to it. How did you route all the rest of the IC piping? Did you buy a universal kit and cut/couple or did you purchase the piping somewhere?

I go insane when people use improper grammar. It amazes me that this younger generation is so dumbed down by computers and smart phones. Smart phones = dumb people
