There is a difference in a long straight bus and a curvy mustang.... much more labor hours into a mustang wrapping it. Its not just sticking it on but you have to heat it and form it for it not to wrinkle....

He probably is the best in the state and had it apart in a couple hours. Generally the wait times come from waiting for parts to come in. I know where I work the parts guys will **** up occasionally or if the part is special order then it takes a lot longer for it to arrive. We had one customer waiting a month for a cap on her transmission to come in (came straight from Honda in Japan I think)

Haha well whenever you're ready just start *****ing to the manager.

What sort of driving are you doing? Is it just daily driving or racing or a mixture of both? Drilled and slotted will provide the most cooling, which is ideal for open track racing, however they dissipate heat too fast under lighter braking and that's how they crack. Also you can't get them machined like slotted or non slotted rotors so you would have to replace them every time you need new pads. Slotted rotors can be machined and look cool but are unnecessary for a DD unless you do a lot of mountain driving. One thing to remember is that with the drilled and slotted/slotted rotors you're trading braking surface area for heat dissipation. All that being said I have slotted rotors on the fronts and drilled and slotted rotors on the rear (not by my choice) because my car sees the road course at least 3-4 times a year and I'm too lazy to swap them out each time.

I don't know that you would need DOT 5.4 fluid for auto x. How "built" is the car right now?

Dot 4 fluid and a good pad should be more than adequate. I like my slotted rotors though they aren't really necessary

Dot 5.4 isn't a bad idea it just seems to be a little overkill for a DD.
