I was fat for a long time. I grew some balls and got off my *** and I shed a lot of weight. It took a lot of work. Still have to work hard. I put on weight way too easily . I have a very slow metabolism and unless I am very active , I get fat. I don't think I've ever posted this picture, but here's me when I was 18. Here's me at 24. There is almost 50lbs difference. I was 230 lbs at the time and now I weigh 180-185 lbs. if you work hard and commit to reasonable diet , nothing is impossible. Diet is 75% of it. Anyways I've done enough preaching. I love my new life and I'm only where I am now because other people gave me guidance and motivated me. Join a gym, make friends with some fit peeps and get in shape.

I am 6"0 btw

I wish I had your motivation. I'm at 220 and I feel ok with it but I wouldn't mind losing some weight. Had a gym membership for like 4 months then I just gave up. No one at home cooks and I definitely don't know how so I eat out A LOT

That's the biggest problem man. You gotta take YOUR life into YOUR hands. You might be okay with it now, but if it's anything like it was for me, you're gonna get heavier with time and it will get much more challenging to go back. Not too mention all the irreversible damage you're doing to you're organs. You wouldn't treat your car that way, you should do it to yourself. I started cooking and prepping my meals at 21. Not exactly early on, but I also didn't have a choice. Wish I had learnt to do that when I was still at home. It's up to you man, I just want you to know that you are the master of your own destiny. If you want to be fit, you can make it happen really easily.

Yea I'll keep that in mind. My membership is technically frozen so I can still go back but I live with my girl and get sister and they don't cook so it's pizza and burgers daily. When they make a salad or healthy food they f it up by putting random stuff on it. I'm 21 too and have been chubby most of my life but I used to be way more active back in my high school days (weights, running, gym, and worked) but not anymore. I'll go back cause after a few floors I'm out of breath lol

So this isn't the most popular thing in the world. I'm a drill sergeant and there's a schedule we keep for the guys. It doesn't take much out of your day but the transformation the guys have with little injury is amazing. There is also crossfit it tells you the work out of the day.(WOD). Crossfit is awesome cause the workouts are fast and have fast results. If you want to know more about either of these let me know.

+1

Basic training was a big help in me getting fit. After that, I had the tools and the knowledge to progress on my own. I've improved further since then, where as a lot of people look their best in basic training and then just kinda let go and maintain the average.
