I nearly bought a C4, probably my favorite modernish corvette. It was a 90 ZR-1 with 12,xxx original miles. Purely a stunning piece of machinery.Click image for larger version

A callaway sledgehammer. In other words the God of the C4. 1000hp twin turbo monster made in 88. With a top speed of 254mph, in 88. The next closest rival would've been the RUF yellowbird, at 211mph. It's top speed wasn't beaten until the SSC ultimate Areo, in 05 or 06. Click image for larger version

It similar to the Porsche 959 case. Porsche sent 200 of those cars here, and our government wanted to crash test them. Well Porsche refuse too, they had already crash tested the cars, and they passed. Well our government impounded them and the owners didn't recieve them for over 10 years... Thanks to bill gates and jerry Seinfeld, a law was passed that after a certain age of a car it could be driven an x number of miles a year, legally...

I said a similar case... It's street legal in many European countries.
After reread many articles on the car, it seems things have changed. When I read about the car in 99 originally in an article it stated there were six made, now only one. It also said 1000hp not 898... I guess it was false info. to begin with, kinda bum. It still is a badass car. I mean 0-60 in 3.9 sec is damn impressive for 88 technology.

What? I don't know what you're trying to say. No, the 25 year only rule and bringing a car in for shows and display are different things. Here is a simple guide.

That's where my 09 Silverado is at Somerset, KY. Got in an accident insurance company totaled it and I guess someone put it back together. I had GPS on it because it was part of the company fleet and did not get a chance to remove it!

Well I'm sure your having better luck with your 01 than I did with my 09. That 09 had gremlins in it to say it was a lemon would be an understatement.

It's a 2000, the Bonneville is an 01...
And yes the truck has been very good to me. It was originally my brothers truck but he did something stupid in it. Pulling our sea ray with 22in wheels on...
Broke the trans and pops and me bought it. Fixed it and been driving it ever since.
187,xxx miles and counting...
Out of the 8 vehicles I co-own it's the most reliable and most useful one by far...

I'm sure I had a 2000 and it was fine too my 09 was a great looking truck it was junk though lots of problems! 2 trannies, rear end, water pump, several alternators, 3 batteries, 2 throttle bodies, traction control failed, and it consumed oil like no other vehicle I have ever owned. It would also go through headlights and other bulbs constantly. Definitely had some type of electrical problem.

Nope no more.....I feel for you..lol...those British cars with Lucas electrics are a mess. That whole Ford/jaguar deal a few years back was so Ford could help them straighten the electrical issues.
