id use the plasti dip.....easier to redo if it takes major impact damage and the rubberized stuff will withstand more..

You don't just get MyColor, it comes with the premium which starts out $5k more than a base model. There are lots of little things I'd like to have, but needing them for the price Ford wanted and me still being able to afford the car? Nah...

Sound like myself and a friend...he bought a used 2008 GT/CS with 15k miles for 20K and I spend 30K and bought Slimer. Each to there own...right?

Re: 10-14 V6 Mustang Pics/Mods. Post Here!

First mod to the new 2013 MCA Mustang - had it 2 weeks now. Decided the stock spoiler wasn't going to make it and it needed some more black on the rear end to tie everything together. With the top down the spoiler can't be seen at all. Top up and it covers just a little bit of the bottom of the rear window. Barely noticeable.

Here is the stock spoiler:

And the new one:

Next appearance mod will be a 12" black stripe from the front bumper up the hood - fading out about 1/2 up the hood like the side stripe. The rear end is too broken up to stripe it all the way back like my 2006.

Talking about the 13 or 11-12? The 13 Roush front is pretty sweet. Not crazy on the 11-12 version though. It's nice but I'm not "in love". I love the GT/CS front on the 11-12 though. Probably the nicest front on newer stangs imo. GT500 and 13 Roush would be a close 2nd on my list.

was the 11-12...but if you really like the CS...keep an eye on ebay...keep seeing an occasional take off from one from time to time...

Grabber Blue is one of the few colors that I'd like white stripes on. Otherwise I'm very partial to black. Looks really sweet Rcary.

Re: 10-14 V6 Mustang Pics/Mods. Post Here!

Just posted today in my old thread might as well do it here too.

@ Ford Fan: Do you like the strut brace? It seems they are more for looks/show unless you go around curves a whole lot.

MODS: BBK CAI, black tail light trim, third brake decal, magnaflow street axelbacks, raxiom projectors, window, quarter, and side marker tint.

More to come, just not sure what else to do...

JAC20, you'll notice a difference from the STB. I've driven it with and without. Even with all my suspension mods I did feel a difference when adding the STB. Tightens up your front end and keeps the car flatter on turns. I was skeptical but got one for $40 so didn't want to pass it up. Pleasantly surprised with it. I'd try and find a used one for cheap. Always see them for sale.

Re: 10-14 V6 Mustang Pics/Mods. Post Here!

@CYCLON

Thanks for the input. I'm looking to do simple mods like that for a little bit. The headlights were an "early anniversary present". I just don't think it's worth the $180 or so american muscle and people want for them. I'll keep an eye out for a used one as well.

I would really like to do a tune, but i'd rather not risk the just in case something may happen, since i have a 5yr100k bumper to bumper.

Not sure what else to do, maybe the strut brace, sprink kit with new wheels, etc until after the warranty and then i may do a gear swap and tune. For the life of me i wish Ford would let you combine the Pony and Performance packages, that would be ideal for the v6.
