Thanks! I really love my Bullitt. I love the wheels also, but I eventually want to upgrade to the staggered 18 inch Bullitts. They just look so mean.

Are yours staggered now, 17x8 & 17x9?

No, I'm currently on the stock 17x8's all around. Im slowly saving up for the 18's. I feel if I have the extra rubber on the road, I'll be relatively competitive in the ESP class that I autox in. Right now I'm consistently finishing third, but I'm not entirely content with that.

I keep spinning around on my decision, but I think I want to got 275's all around so I can rotate. I'm wondering if the extra width will help in autox, or will the weight offset?

Yeah, I was wondering what the weight difference is between the stock 17's and staggered 18's. But I'm sure the extra grip will offset the added weight of the larger wheel. The other option is going with the staggered 17's, but I really prefer the look of the 18's. What wheels are you thinking about getting if you do upgrade?

Since I have 17x9 Bullitts in the back, I was thinking of picking up another set. Then I would have 4 - 17x8's and 4 - 17x9's. I'd use the 17x8's for a winter setup. Then 275's all around for the 17x9's. I want to do summer tires because the hook better, rather than all seasons.

That sounds like an ideal situation. Fortunately in California, I don't have any need for all season tires. I run summer tires all year round. But I want to throw some real aggressive rubber on the wider tires for days at the track, and switch to the stock wheels for DD duty.

Yeah, that would be cool. I think the right tires could lower your times quite a bit.

My old 04 had staggered 17's with 315's in the rear. I thought the 17's looked perfect and well, the 315's were just bada**!!!

I was thoroughly surprised it rained damn near all day, cut up a little leaving the parking lot and down a few backroads on the way home.

Thanks, I ended up doing more coats than needed, I wanted it to really stand out. I'm thinking of plasti-dipping the GT emblem red as well. That might be a project for the end of the week after all the rain.
