I don't think it's ghetto. I'm Doing mine as well. I would much rather spend $50 on paint than $500+ on swapping my entire interior black

People dye drapes and curtains and hair all the time. Just have to soak for extended period of time to get a nice deep solid finish to it and not be blotchy.
I'd never do it but I'm sure it can be done

Hmmm it would be much cheaper than getting new colored seats but idk I'd want to know exactly what to expect

Lmao since your carpet are probably a synthetic, you might wanna try a dye that they use on weaves and extensions or wigs. Just don't make it look like a tie dyed Easter egg.

But you wanna wash it again after you clay bar it to get all the residue and particles off. Don't polish or wax it right after you clay bar it until you wash you. You'll defeat the whole purpose of clay barring

I recommend dye for the leather and carpet. Paint doesn't last long on leather especially your seats it'll wrinkle and peal from you sitting on it. And painting the carpet will just look nasty.

What did you paint the dash with? And did you just tape it off inside or take it out?
