Get out on a road course too! Cobra brakes will make a major difference in stopping power too

Yeah not to mention stainless brakelines. A guy in my club goes out to willow springs all the time! Id love to do a road course! Im excited, think the mods ive chosen will be much more rewarding and fun than my initial thought of doing an all drag set up with lakewoods and what not.

They're on the list. I want to get a big brake kit eventually. But I'll have to get new wheels at the same time so Idk when that will be.

Start with the SS lines and a new set of pads. Track pads actually made a noticeable difference for me. Think about it this way, if you're already causing the ABS to come on then a 4 piston or 6 piston will only cause that to happen earlier until you start getting some major traction up front.

It's pretty damn fun. I haven't done auto x with my car yet but I don't know how I'd like it. I enjoy getting to wind out a couple gears instead of staying in one the whole time.

Try to go ride with him. I went with a buddy in his Shelby and had a blast. Granted my car felt extremely slow afterwards, but that's a whole different issue..

I actually already feel the ABS kick in.

With AutoX you literally get to throw your car around the corners though.

Yeah but I would buy a Miata or S2000 if I wanted a car for something like that. My car isn't responsive enough for that.

I'm sure you can hop on other forums and talk with guys with actual experience with a big brake setup on these cars. I would love to get a Cobra R kit but have no need for it right now.

Except that's the fun part. Taking a car that loves kicking the rear out and trying to keep that in control while throwing it around. I had such a huge smile on my face during my last run. I don't care about times, I care about what I can do with this fun car.
