I take that back. No fender badges. But it does have that unique spoiler and it has the pony package grille.

Yeah, it isn't a full Pony Package. I was informed that it was a "Deluxe", however.
Major Features and Options
V-6 Deluxe: auxiliary audio input jack, one-touch up-down power windows, power mirrors and door locks, keyless entry, air conditioning, CD player, tilt steering wheel, speed control, rear window defroster, stainless steel exhaust, 16-inch wheels, four-wheel power disc brakes, and split-folding rear seat on coupe models.

Get a good saw blade. Tape up where you need to cut the fender well as to not mess up the paint Get a bottle of touch up to go over the raw edge where you cut the fender well. Rubbing problem solved.

You only need to do this if it rubs. If the tires do not rub there is no need to cut anything. With the 1 & 1/2 inch spacers I would think you would need to do the body work.

F that. Just go get your fenders rolled. Most places charge $150-200 for all 4 fenders, and they won't get ****ed up in the process.

I think you only need one inch to get what you want.

There are a few already on the forum using one inch on the rear without rubbing. A few pictures show that it does look good.

This is one inch and looks great.
1" wheel spacers

I personally would NOT use them on the front wheels ( Not Safe)

Thank you very much for this. No not on the front. The back is just so tucked underneath. Want a little bit of old school beefiness

Installing the spacers

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Be very sure your hub is super "CLEAN" No rust or burrs so the spacers fit perfectly flat.
Then:::::
1st. Get the one's from American Muscle that are not cheap but also not crush when in use.
2nd. Put blue locktite on the studs or bolts holding the spacers on.
3rd. get a torque wrench and torque the spacers to 100 ft-pds
This is very important After you drive about fifty miles after installing the spacers you need to remove the wheels and retorque the spacers. Go no more then seventy five miles. Fifty is the best. You do not want a wheel coming off when driving down the highway.
You will want a torque wrench anyway to torque your wheels to 100 ft-pds which is the correct torque for them.

You can put up to 1/4 spacers on the front but I really do not suggest doing it. If you do decide to use them on the front wheels you should really keep an eye on the torque about every two or three hundred miles for a while because they are the ones always taking side pressure when turning and may or may not crush just enough to come loose. You don't have that problem on the rear one's
Stay away from the bargin store cheap one's if your gonna do spacers at all.

Last=== Give us some pictures before & after.
Ronnie

Ya gotta get special paint for the bumpers

You can't use the same paint as on the car. The bumpers are flexible and some sort of plastic. They do take a special paint made to use on them.
