Really? That's weird.

Mods yes. The guy gave me a list, much of which I'm not sure the real purpose. Lowering springs, stop the hop package, k&n filter, 7075 aluminum 4-bolt caster camber plates? , tri-ax shifter, Stage 1 IRS F-Trac. Don't really know a whole lot about these mustangs yet.

---------- Post added at 09:57 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:54 PM ----------

Why would someone put an 01 bumper on the car? Also, I have been meaning to create a new thread so some of you guys who know your stangs can tell me what I have ....lol

Oh, that's the bad thing about purchasing a car that is over 10 years old with 3 previous owners. You never really know what has been done to the car. I ran a car fax on it before I purchased and everything came back very clean. When I was washing it the other day, I realized that the lower part of the front bumper has probably been repainted. Everything seems to drive out great tho. Other than this, I have never seen a 99 in such amazing condition. Almost 0 rust anywhere. Was garaged its entire life, that's for sure. Hope it's a good car.

You just going to spray paint it black? That's what I would do

I haven't hit a curb yet. I'm very careful. When I pull in to a curb, I just stop a foot or so back. Hell, if a king cab truck can park in the same spot, I can surely park back a foot or so and still be out of the way.
The one that I have, it's on the same bumper that you have on your car. If attaches over the top of that rounded lip, then slides right underneath it. It only lowered in the front end the thickness of the material of it. Still basically the same height as it was before

It's paintable. It has a smooth finish to it. Mine isn't painted. I just wax it lol.
They coulda painted it, but since it's so smooth, they woulda had to scuff it. There are other ones that install the same way, but much more expensive

It just attaches to the underneath of your bumper. I had mine installed by the body shop when I had my halos wired in.
