Out cruising around tonight with my wife after having the mustang on ramps for a few days getting my headers/throttle body installed. Gotta love rain in the middle of a project lol.

Come on now, its the same height as when it had the stock wheels and tires on it. There is actually a little less gap as they are a little taller

The car is hiding under the canopy for a detail in the morning.

Hopefully I can get around to it before it gets hot here in GA.

The headlights fill with condensation, and the wheel wells need a little love.

Yes, I know, the car is not lowered. I have other things to tackle before cosmetics. It will eventually be lowered about an inch to one and a half inches.

I am not one for super low vehicles anymore. I enjoy being able to drive over speed bumps and humps without bottoming out or ripping off the front fascia.

I may not get to the detail work until this evening. The car is clean and waiting for a massage though.

I'm naming my Doberman female puppy Kona when I get her in November.

Not trying to say anything negative about Kona Blue at all I love the color. I figured it was better than "Shelby" or something like that.

Plus it has other meanings than just the KB mustangs.

No offense takin at all. It's a great color choice(my own opinion) and I wish it was more available on fords lineup. Good luck with the pup.

I gotcha, the angle does make it look worse. I dont think I have one from the side though. I will hopefully have the jacked up look rectified Saturday. Heres to hoping anyway.

Attached a couple now (still bad angle and not more from the side), and a couple before pics, wheel gap looks about the same to me, hard to tell with the angle, I know. And the stock tires were a taller sidewall than the new ones so I think that contributes to it looking more jacked visually. Either way Ive avoided driving it too much cause I hate the wheel gap so much, lol. I was this way with my 96 too, but that took much longer at the time to get it lowered. 96 looked even worse with the wheel wells being "cut" even higher I beleive than the 03s. Its funny though when I took it to work last weekend people thought it looked good and when I said, I still had to lower it and had the stuff, they were like "why?". Non car people I guess cant relate to certain things at times. I told them why? Because it looks like a 4x4 missing a transfer case is all, lol.

Looking at the stock wheel pics, I knew the rears were sunk in, but they are really sunk in now compared to the 10" wide rears with 285s on them. Would have loved a 305 but their just too much $ and mostly DR and I in no way, shape, or form, need a DR at stock power levels, ha.

Lowering springs are now installed. No more 4x4 Mustang. Turned out pretty good I think. Dropped a little more than I thought too.
