New project made it to the house

Buddy RJ got a 1974 CJ5 this weekend...got some work to do. First we have to diagnose and fix a sticky throttle. Then we are going to dive into the electrical and get that straightened up....that is where the biggest problems with it lies. But I got lots of pics and thought I would share.

And here she is

lot of work to do here

oh yeah some 33s....

really rust is minimal

I wish I had this deck

After we tackle the throttle issue we are going to jump into electrical

a 304 iirc

hooray now power brakes

exhaust dumps out in a good place

high class expensive seats

see this doesn't just seem right

Someone out there does. One day he will stumble on that post and be offended. I live for that day.

it is in a relatively good shape. The pics of the floor plan is seriously the worst (and all) of the rust. Besides the sticky throttle and the electrical problems it has it is in pretty good shape. Think the electrical is where most the problems lies. Something drains the battery when it is parked, blinkers dont work, high beams dont work, only guage that works is Oil Pressure, air/heat, radio (no speakers anyways) and really that is it. Possibly a leaky radiator, but keeping an eye on it. We get the electrical sorted out and we will be in business. Might be willing just to rip the harness out and "start from scratch" with it.

Yeah, but for the most part all it will see is some occasional mud and the street for now. No heavy duty trail duties for awhile.

I need to get the bronco up and running so we can get some poser shot side by side...it will dwarf the jeep.
