I'll be happy to just have our beer legislation go through letting us get better beers here.

Re: 7 States Rethinking Drinking Age

our drinking age in this country is really unfair. why could you be old enough to go to war but not old enough to go into a bar?

Hell, in AL you can be old enough to get sent off to Iraq, but not old enough to buy a pack of smokes.

Re: 7 States Rethinking Drinking Age

my mom used to run a gas station in mississippi close to the AL state line and i'd say 25% of our cigarette buyers were kids under 19 from alabama.

That and you can't buy 6 packs at the same places you can buy cases, and you can't buy beer at a liquor store. PA is lame on that account

Re: 7 States Rethinking Drinking Age

Iowa... 21, and you can buy as much alcohol as you want. I've bought $150 worth of bottles and cans at a time, pulled the car up, and loaded them all up. It was great when I used it, but I haven't bought alcohol in a year now. However, we are in the process of passing a smoking ban in all public buildings (with very limited exceptions).
