Its amazing what a good body shop can do!

Last Christmas, some a$$hat ran a red light in his Explorer and ran in to our new Carerra. Car has/had only 13k miles on her. Almost 4 months in the body shop. Two days after we took the car out of the body shop, we traded her in for another toy. Something was taken away when he smacked 40k worth of damage to an almost new car.

Day we brought her home:

The accident day:

Tear down:

Rebuild:

Pickup day:

Porsche of Downtown LA has their own shop they use. They have a Porsche, Mercedes, Audi, VW, Nissan, and Chevy dealerships so they do all their own cars. The car spent 3 weeks in the Porsche mechanic department to rebuild the front and all electronics.

Great job. Do you have more before and after pics?

BTW, I am assuming you are from Vegas. Are you going to be at SEMA?

I would love to get one a few years old but the Matenence costs and parts scare me.

It was amazing. The power in that car was unreal. 0-60 in less than 4 seconds and as stable as could be. One of the best performance cars I have ever had. Too bad she is gone, but the new toy is a smooooooth MF.
