Re: Hitting an Oil Slick at 150mph

I had something like that happen to me last winter. I wasnt going 150. I was going about 60 and apparently there was some black ice on the freeway and all of a sudden the car started swerving and I spun out as I tried to straighten the car and came to a stop on the side of the freeway, unscathed. Definitely one of the more scarier moments in my life. I can only imagine how scared ****less that guy must of been while losing control at 150. If he would've hit anything at that speed, it would've been over

Re: Hitting an Oil Slick at 150mph

he was only doing about 93 or so mph...if you look at the video, it say 150 kph, not mph....in any event, hitting at guardrail at 90 would have surely ruined his day...

nice save, although he definitely over-corrected just a touch there in the middle

Re: Hitting an Oil Slick at 150mph

Excellent correction. Although he wouldve just bounced off the guardrail and careened back into the freeway. Slow-Mo shows how good his reactions were. Great driving skills on his part.
