I took my cover off so it didn't rip off or blow away, Tuesday morning walked out side and seen it! New one on its way

While we didn't get the same hit that you people on the east coast did, we felt Sandy here in SE Michigan. Winds were extremely strong, out of the NNE, lots of rain. I've never seen Lake Huron as nasty as it was. A friend took these pictures at his house on the north end of Port Huron and a little further up the lake. Normally a pretty placid area; the first two are in a protected harbor.

Yes I heard lake Michigan had 20 foot waves , that's crazy

yeah, actually the local news said 25 foot. i live about 30 minutes from the lake amd a bunch of buddies went to the beach to check it out. i just cant figure out why no one took there surf boards. umm maybe cause they dont have any? lol

Southeast Pa, West Chester Pa, , I have a generator going but no hot water :-/ !

We lost a ton of shingles off our roof. Two full days without power. Schools closed the entire week.
