Did a little interior work.

So I got in the mood to do some stuff to my interior. The AC knobs and such are going to change... it was an idea I had that was deemed the whole time "temporary", just so I could get an idea if I liked it or not. Well, now I've decided I do like it, so I'm going to work on making a real nice looking product. I'm going to do that by making all the areas that are bare aluminum sonic blue, and the flat black will stay.

As far as my project the last day and a half... I think you can see what it was. The parts were sprayed with a metallic blue paint, then cleared with a gloss clear. I cleaned with water and soap, and then goo gone, and then 91% alcohol. I sprayed 4 light coats, and one heavier coat with the paint, and then a very similar process with the clear. Paint was allowed 5-10 minutes of dry time in between coats. The clear was allowed 1 minute dry time between coats and when I was done 90 minutes total dry time.

im eh about it. i dont think the mustang interior has the design that allows for the exterior color to transfer well into the interior.

notice all the girls are like "holla"
When you look at it from the driver's seat, it actually flows very nicely and looks natural. I have wide angle shots ready

lol...we know best!

i'm sure some other people chime in. i definitely think it looks good. i want to do the inside of the GT, just not sure what color yet. ??

mod wise, i want to finish the exhaust and get some of the performance stuff done first. great job though! i love it.

Yeah, man. Nothing like a little interior dress up to make your baby a bit sexier. I'm right with you.

Well then, I'm not telling you how much mine was and I certainly do not give you permission to look it up, lol.
I love my polished underhood parts when clean but damn do they show dirt easily.

yeah, I would imagine they do all of that. I don't really mind how much it is. If you love it, then it was worth it. That's how I see it... and that's why I have lots of car parts sitting in my house right now waiting... just waiting to go on.

Why thank you. The secret, if you notice from the underhood picture, is that the air intake heat shield doubles as a beer cozy while doing work.

Would you do a body kit or anything? I love the way the SN95's look with either the Roush or the Saleen front fascia.

Re: Did a little interior work.

I'm basically planning almost a full Cobra kit. Front and rear bumper, with hood. Then the Cobra mirrors and side skirts. I will have Mach c-pillars, and black FR500's. And Cobra spoiler.
