Car artist painting!

Just got my painting today! I've been eating for 2 months for this thing. A well known artist named Doug Short did it for me. He's a huge ford guy and even worked for Ford Canada doing all the rendering/car art for them. He's done so much more. NASCAR, F1 and even a pairing for John Force. What an amazing portfolio, now I have mine! You guys like it??

Lol. It's going in my back room, it's my workout room/mustang toy room! I'm in love with this painting. Should be framing it soon.

as an artist i can't help but look at it and wonder what was going on in the backdrop though. he has an off the wall road sweeping in slamming into the road the cars on with an impossible turn...i know that's just being picky, but like i said i was always taught to disect art and be ready to have my own work disected as well so it's second nature.

Well let me explain, I told him that to i took my car to the track and that I also lived in California in the high desert...so the image he came up with isn't actually a 100% realistic version of somewhere, it's a fantasy like version of a dream. Hence the spark and fire coming of the wheels and just a light desert backdrop.
