Haha at 27 compensation is hardly the problem. If I'm not confused it was a stang they used in one of the more recent viagra commercials.

I'll take this Shelby over any Plastic Fantastic. Lol. No really, for the price this is a better option. And the whole thing about IRS?.. That's a bit over played. The ZL1 has one of the most advanced suspension set ups and still gets whooped on by the 2013 GT500. The only short coming to the Shelby is its brakes.

I drove my brothers 2001 Vette and almost crashed it trying to figure out why I could not get into 2nd gear. Seems the car has to think for the driver because if the revs or what ever is not the way the car wants it you have to go to 3rd. So the car is smarter then the drivers or Chevy sells to the stupid.

Ya I've driven a couple of Vettes, older ones and they are fun. But for the price of owning one and modding it?.. I'll stick with Mustangs instead.

These are the best looking Vettes IMO

69 Stingray

I'd rather have '13 GT500 myself.
OP, that is a sweet looking GT500!

Love the new GT500's. Bueatiful car for sure! And IRS's are overrated... and subject to easier breaking then a LRA.

Sorry to offend your fragile sensibilities. Nothing like a little tunnel vision and unquestionable loyalty to make someone make juvenile claims; noting better to say? So you worked at a Chevy dealer but how much track time have you put in behind the wheel of both a mustang and a vette say at a track like Laguna Seca? Couple hundred hours here and that's not hyperbole. I love my stang but I'm also a car guy in general. Also have you even driven the new C7 or just blowing more smoke? If you want to attack a gear head for being a gear head, all be it in a mustang forum, go find something better to do.

Hey bro I think your taking this a bit too seriously. I think he was just poking some fun and didn't really mean anything by it. We all here own Mustangs and so there for are supposed to "Naturally Hate", anything not Ford. Least of all anything not a Mustang. Lol. Plus everyone has their opinion as to what is nicer and better. No mater what track numbers say.

Nobody has test driven the c7 except gm engineers.

I haven't heard of too many vette rear ends breaking. I'd say they have a pretty stout setup.

Ford has provided for my family for the last 15 years. I hate all cars equally. They all break. But yeah, I was just screwing around settle down. I really only do like ford for the most part. It's what I know and what I drive. I like them. Your entitled to your opinion. if people didn't buy brand x then what would we work on. Lmao. I have had 3 Gm products in my stall today and its only lunch time. At a ford dealer. More jokes. Lol
