Can anyone tell me why the engine is like this.. Lol sorry if it may be a stupid question to some people but idk what's the difference between a normal" engine and this one. Cause of the circular heads. I'm not very engine savvy.-. At least not with anything like that.-.

That's a ford v8 with 8 carburetors on it without air filters. Most cars usually had 1 but if you can sync them perfectly (which is a ***** btw)) it makes a lot of power! But carburetors are no match to modern EFI.

I can't tell what size it is from the pictures but it looks like a small block 289 or 302.

Yes on a daily driver it could mess with the motor after many miles but on a race car, it frees up a lot of horsepower and most race car teams replace the internals after each race due to the stress that is put on the motor anyway. You could run a car without filters but you shouldn't drive it everyday. It would mainly be a show car or drag car

Just wanted to chime in, you can use this set up with efi. They're just individual throttle bodies. It's a lot of money but you can build awesome power with them. You do run into filter and clearance issues though.

Regardless of EFI and carb, syncing all 8 would be a *****! I've never seen 8 throttle bodies on a V8
