This was from a 50 mile trip on my 91 hybrid tune! I started off with a hard pull then just cruised on the freeway!

It's easy with the 12 you just hit info until you see your average MPG and then hit reset. I did that by accident one time when I was back home on leave. I averaged (nope don't have the picture so you'll have to take my word for it), 32 MPG. I drove from Kentucky to Northern Virginia, 702 miles only had to fill up twice only because I hate riding on a quarter tank.

This is on average. I reset it every 3 tanks. And this was my last tank before the reset. You go to info and whatever you want to reset, click reset. Info button cycles it

It's ok I average 17, all city with 3.73's and a 93 hybrid tune. I find the 23.7 a couple posts above with the same 2 variables unachievable.

How happy are all you guys with the performance of this car? I really want the GT, and I know they're in two totally different leagues, but the gas and insurance will kill me. So is the 305 HP got you guys thrilled to drive your Stangs everyday?

I wasn't taking photos back then, but half way through my modding, I was getting 36+ mpg highway at 9 mph over the speed limit.

Lifetime average for the car is 32 mpg. Even when I abuse it, I can't really get under 25 mpg.

There's no way you get that mpg. What did you reset your mpg and idol your car around the parking lot? Because that's impossible

It is possible. At 43 mph in a stock vehicle in top gear, we get 43 mpg. I do not believe that on the highway, in the least, but I wasn't going to say anything lol

Lol, it depends. If it is literally stop and go rush hour, true. If one can just use clutch keep moving, not wasting fuel and brake, nah, at 73 mph I get 35-40 mpg, at 29-39 I am getting 40-60 mpg.

I was following my friend who had his roush on a trailer. The rear spoiler on those cars creates one heck of a draft effect.

---------- Post added at 06:55 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:52 AM ----------

I was doing 60 mph on flat fresh paved hwy. I reset my avg when we hit the highway this was about 20 mins after that do yes it is possible. Look up the test ford did at bristol with one of these 3.7 cars.

Threads about mpgs just make me cry. Im gonna have to just sell the car. Without it i can actually just buy the gas station instead of funding the gas station.

But they were doing 43 mph on a closed course. I doubt the rear spoiler did much for you lol, unless you were just a foot or so away, the air flow would not be THAT amazing.

I am not saying BS, on a flat road, and clearing the mpg from take off, at 60ish mph, thats plausible. Just not a real mpg (tank to tank) readout. I mean, I get 9999 mpg when I EOC.

Lol I do enjoy the mpg my mustang gets. I used to drive a truck that got 10mpg going downhill with the wind behind it.
