Previous Owner Mistakes

So when you buy a used car or truck there's always something that's been rigged up or just something not right. I found that out today when changing the adjustment bracket to my fox.

Why would you GLUE them TOGETHER!!??

hahaha WOW. That's ridiculous! That would have to make them an even bigger PITA to install as one piece to begin with. Hell, if it has a CAI a good portion of the air going to the filter goes through that headlight to begin with. Were some of the studs broken on the back of the actual headlight or something?

Not gonna lie, I had to jerry rig some crap on my old fox body that I kind of forgot about until after I sold it. I can't imagine what the next owner thought when his headlights wouldn't come on randomly and saw my awful soldering job I did on the replacement headlight switch plug/socket lol. I had to solder it in the 110 degree parking lot at my house in college with the cheapest soldering kit in the world with easily the worst electrical tape that is legally able to be sold, so it wasn't pretty. It also didn't help that the wires were way too short to use my right hand for anything somewhat useful to the process the entire time. Plus I lost like 1/2 the screws that held the instrument cluster/lense together after swapping out the instrument faces like 4x's so I had to use similar sized screws instead of the awful star bit screws that it originally had.

He was probably like WTF was this guy's deal?!?

Torque: It's like crack for your right foot
