It holds up great. I did mine about a month ago and have taken it through high pressure car washes, brush car washes, and through a track day with lots of heat coming out and they still look perfect. Best $5 appearance mod ever, especially for a white car, it will look great!

Rims, fuel door, hood decal, rear decklid, rear valence, all dipped..it holds up amazingly, went through Hurricane Sandy with a blown off car cover, didn't effect the dip at all.

I cleaned them first with "Ajax Super Degreaser" dish soap. Rinse then dry well with towel. Then I cleaned them with "Isopropyl Alcohol". Dryed with towel. I put 4 coats on them. The first coat was light, waited about 40 minutes before I did each one after that. After the first coat I made sure I turned the can upside down and sprayed it till just air came out to clear the nozzle, I also wiped the nozzle off before I started the next coat. Found that it tends to splatter some if I didn't do this. Held the can 6-8 inches from part and used a back and forth sweeping motion as I applied it. Waited at least 4 hours before I reinstalled them.

My rims have been done for over a year now w/ countless car washes, a couple dyno days, drag strip, etc. and it hasn't come off yet.

Pretty sure dipped rims would have to be redone after getting new tires, isn't it something with the machine that's balances the tires that will tear the dip or something? I might be wrong, anyone know for sure? Just re dipped my rims and pretty sure I need new tires for summer

That could certainly happen but it isn't that difficult to peel off and re-do.
