Both, all Mach 1s were fastbacks but not all fastbacks were Mach 1s. Has the 351w in it.

Here is my son's '65 Restomod that he and I built together for his first car. He used it the last 2.5yrs for his daily driver, but now she is in my garage since he is taking a '13 GT off to school. He will take her back when he gets off on his own.

What we started with:

Here are pics when almost complete:

Rear changed a bit, went to a GT350 old school gas cap and exhaust tips were extended

Here is the engine bay:
Ford 302ci crate engine, Hooker Long Tubes, Flowmaster Exhaust, Comp Cam, Holley 650, Edlebrock RPM intake, MSD Ignition, Champion 4row, C4 w/shift kit, American Racing 17" w/lowered suspension. Lots of fiberglass-hood, deck, valance, Disc Brakes, Power Steering, w/AC

Oh yeah....did I mention the stereo....LOL

Yes, the second wife is a friend of a friend and signed her name next to Carol's name.

My first car, back in 1971. Still has my name on the title and I use it when I have time. That paint, the vinyl top and interior are all original. The spare tire, with it's 1964 air still in it, is a Firestone Deluxe Champion, and these numbers might not make sense to some of you younger guys but the size is 6.50 x 14. Not much traction with an open rearend!
