Well it cost me just the gauges i had a pice of aluminum laying around. But you can buy a "gauge support" from cjponyparts that would do the same thing its 45$ so basically its just how much you want to spend on the gauges i spent like 350-400 i think i havent added up the numbers yet

That's awesome that you have a car that you were able to use in high school and then possibly hand down to your children one day

Here's a pic of our Shelby Hertz's. Both are originals, not clones. The '66 is signed by Carol Shelby and his wife Cleo.

Thanks, we also have a 69 Mach 1 race car. Saturday night the track was ****, we blew the tires off the car and it still went 7.79 at 177mph in the 1/4 mile. It has a 605ci Ford motor with 400 hp nitrous. Here's a couple of picks of it.

Go501green, cool cars. The Shelby Hertz are really nice and the Mach 1 must be a blast, (pun intended). I finally got my 66 GT street legal with registration, inspection and original 1966 license plates. Maybe throw a 100 shot in it next season. Nice cars

Thanks, the Mach has a 351W in it right now, I'm finishing up some issues I have with it, including taking out the motor and replacing it with a 428CJ with a nice cam, a lot of head work, headers and a Holman & Moody aluminum intake with dual carbs that I just got. Also putting in a posi-unit and 3.55 gears. THEN it will be a blast.

Dreaming of a project car

This is pretty pathetic but this is all I have so far…
A scribble from high school..and a high school buddy's emblem from after he crashed his Stang…

I've been looking for a shell but no luck so far. It seems like most are in the southern part of the country and I hate to waste a lot of money on the transport. Any suggestions of better places to look?

You all have sweet rides! They keep me motivated...
