Handling is horrible, cant take turns too tight. Honestly. I feel like I'm driving a death trap. Then again the suspension hasn't been touched In god knows how long. Just food for thought.

I drove my 66 coupe just over 100 miles to my garage. Mine had damaged passenger front suspension and manual drum brakes. I can understand the concern of the lack of drivability and am personally amazed any of the older mustangs, much less any car from that era, made it this far. While it may take a little time, money, blood, sweat and tears, they can be made to handle just as well as newer car.

My 66 GT. aka "The Oven". Deep in the heat of Texas with no a/c. During rebuild I used the products from LizardSkin. The sound barrier works great. Will have to see in another month or so how well the heat barrier works. Sprayed 2 coats of each from the firewall to the rear bumper inside and out.

Man, that is my plan as well. Mine is still a shell at this point with 90% of metalwork done. Where at in TX are you at?

Paint. The top of the car is a desert sand type of color. This was the paint job when I bought it, and although I wasn't all about it then, it has grown on me.
