What all did you do while you had it apart? What paint did u use?

Sorry for the questions, helping my brother on his 66 (289) and its a basket case. Almost have it back together. Looking great. Just needs body work and paint now. Floors, engine, tranny, brakes, rear end, all that is done.

Forged pistons, ARP bolts for mains and intake, bored .30 over, 2-bearing billet aluminum distributor, ProComp aluminum intake manifold, eldebrock 650 carb, solid CNC machined aluminum under drive pulley. Also is nitrous eligible. 10:1 compression. Along with exhaust, I'm pushing about 350-375 hp from, what used to be, a stock 225 hp 302

I have to order some Metal Rescue for the axle and some other parts. She's getting sent to a shop to get rid of the stock Monte Carlo bars since they are welded on, new paint job, and pass. Side floor pans. Gonna be gone for a while

Thank god we got his all done. Under coated and ready to carpet. He actually ordered the insulation, headliner and all that to do this weekend. His front glass was scratched all to crap. Got it out and a new one ready to go back in. That's one expensive little project right there.

I'm just happy I'm the only guy at my HS with a car like this. Some Asian guy has 1998 Honda hatch with a fart pipe. Time for me to let him get a good look at my rear view mirrors :p hopefully he likes track fees
