I have a friend that work at ford so I paid him 300.00 to do it. It was a pain to get the waves out of the fiberglass. The hood cost like 600 I bought it off a store on eBay

So I should expect like $400 for paint?

Well that would generous depends on how much labor they would have to do. I would say a good paint job would range from 600 to 1000. And make sure you get good pins unless you don't want the good when you on the highway lol

The powdercoating isn't expensive I had mine done for $60 and the work isn't hard just keep it clean. Don't get any dirt inside the head is what I mean

Yo, cool to see some younger doods here too.

I was 17 when I got my 2006 V6 for 9k, put 10k worth of mods in it all myself (look at profile pic) and unfortunately wrecked it. Now I've got a 2010 GT that I love to death and worked hard for (18 now).

hey depack21 congrats on the stang at 17, when I was 17 I had an 89' Convertible Fox body 5.0 LX. It was white with a black top. I did a lot of work to that car and that was where I got my passion for mustangs. Keep up the good work modding that pony out! You gotta have one of the nicer cars in school, right? And remember a fist full of cash thrown at a car is no where near as nice as doing the work yourself, and knowing that YOU DID THAT, not some "old guy" who paid to have his car customized. Keep your head up.

Thanks, and yes my car is the nicest and fastest. My town is not rich so you won't see anything too special.

I think all you need now is some tint and quarter window louvers!
