I'm only showing an ad for a car in Japan that is labeled as a 1990. The intent was the humor in how the car is being advertised as it is hardly a 1990.

Do they still have that 30k mile law where you have to get rid of it once it gets that many miles?

They just make it really expensive if you choose to keep it or register it as a classic.

Anything over 10 years regardless of mileage must be inspected annually and the fees run upwards of $1500 per inspection. Up to 10 years requires inspections every other year at the same cost.

Wow. In the US, once a car is 25 years old it can be registered as a antique and is no longer required to have an annual inspection. Well, at least that's how it is in Texas. I've got an '89 240sx and next year I can register it as a antique. I think it'll cost $55 for a 5 year tag.

Can u still drive as often as want? In illinois I think way worked...same thing cheap but were only supposed to be allowed to drive to get gas, car show, to get repaired, very low mileage per year I believe
