Lowering springs, window tint, wheels or at least the center caps lol. Then of course the paint and stuff. Pretty good place to start lots of potential for sure. Can't wait to see the transformation.

Check your oil level (if you'd haven't already). Low pressure can cause the lifters to click. I'd start with an oil change and maybe a sea foam treatment. It's good to do these things , especially if you're sketchy on the past owners maintenance schedule. Also, hood scoop! I had a 99 gt and I hated that they looked like sixxers of later years. The hood scoop and side scoops are a really good look to the car, but it's not crucial I suppose hehe.

just had an engine flush and oil change, changed my plugs and boots and springs for the coils... still tick tick tick hah fuuuu ... so you guys think they would look better with the center caps back on... rims are definitely on the list tho... was thinking some black staggard 5 stars from AM or a buddy has some Rock Stars hes trying to sell.. not sure how they would look tho.
ahhhh yeah window tint would be on my soon to do list however the windows are scratched to **** looks like previous owner cleaned the passenger and drivers side window with a rock... may need new glass.. or will dark tint hide that

Cheap mod that is awesome for looks and performance is lowering springs! Then upgrade shocks and struts as soon as possible after. I was really happy with the result I got.

oh I agree I hate the hood and it has rock chips so rather then spend money getting it painted I was thinking of getting
1995 Cobra R Style Hood - Unpainted (99-04 All)
Our Price $524.99 from American muscle... unfortunately they don't deliver to Canada so I will have an issue finding one

Okay everyone if you had $1000 to order something tonight for the mustang what would it be. Keep in mind i want it done rite the first time, no upgrading parts later down the road. Top quality

Id definitely start hunting for rims. You don't even need to spend a grand. Look on Kajiji or Craigslist.
The paint job... OUCH... have you priced what it costs to do a "top notch" paint job on one of these cars? Start saving.
Id like to see someone do an all motor build. I know that there's bigger numbers to be had with FI, but I like the simplicity of NA.
A stroked, high compression, cammed, and heads mod motor.
It's still going to be a tiny little sewing machine engine but what the hell...

Id just like to see something on here that is not just bolting things onto your car. The supercharger, and gear ratio threads are getting old.
I grew up in a different era where we didn't have all of the options of today.
A lot of you younger guys have no idea how lucky that you are...

Ya. It would start to create bubbles from the scratches it happened before on my buddys mustang.

What direction are you going for; for the car itself?
