2009 GT/CS Vista Blue

I had to sell my 2007 GT Redfire last November because it was my daily driver and I was putting too many mile on it and I didn't want to run it into the ground.

I took a job transfer closer to where I live and on Saturday I'm buying a 2009 GT/CS Vista Blue.

It's a one-owner, never damaged, always serviced car and I am a happy man.

I really missed my 07 and I can't wait to get behind the wheel.

I tried to attach a few pics. Hope it worked.

Great choice of color. Too bad it has a hard top.

Yes, a cold-air-induction unit for sure.

My 2007 had a K&N CAI and it added some low-end torque and they claim an additional 15 hp. It's an easy, quick and inexpensive way to get a few more ponies.

Looks good.

Rag-Tops are awesome but I like the coupe too.

Have a good one,

Bob - Congrats that is a really nice car.

I live right down the road from that dealership. I recommend that you register the car here: GT/CS Registry

Enjoy that car!

Thanks for the registration link.

I actually live in Dunmore, PA but I stopped to see the car a few weeks ago when I was on the road. That's how I came to know the car was at this dealership.

So far they have been great to deal with.

Don't know where you see those references, but I know for sure that 2005 was the last year of Sonic Blue until they brought it back in 2012.
If you wanted dark blue in a 2006-2009, you got Vista and in 2010 and 2011 it was Kona Blue.

Unless of course a car was painted custom by the owner.

The two colors (Sonic and Vista) really are very close but Kona has more of a purple feel to it. What's funny to me is that you can buy touch-up paint for Sonic Blue off the shelf in the auto parts stores, but Vista Blue has to be ordered online.

If you park sonic and vista blue cars next to each other you can see a big difference. I did it once when I had my 05 to prove someone it wasn't vista blue haha

Hello Ian

What can you tell me about the CAI and Tuner?

I'm interested in knowing:
1.) make of both
2.) age of both
3.) overall condition of both
4.) filter condition
5.) availability of tuner instructions
6.) asking price.

Thanks Ian and looking forward to hearing from you. I'll be traveling today so I probably won't be able to check for your response until Saturday 10/26/13.
