A friend of mines mother had a 98 cobra and drive the **** out if it for years, it was her prized possession. About a year ago she passed from cancer and her step father took my friend in as his own. Together they decide to rebuild the car in memory of her mom.
So it was a full rebuild, ground up. Paint to engine to interior. All in a two car garage.
They took out the out pistons rods crank etc and had everything replaced with a forged rotating assembly. And kept everything to factory spec (compression) and they did a little head work with a big port and polish.
Well, we clean up the pistons and rods, and she took them inside and set them on her shelf.
She had always wanted to make picture frames out of them.
Well she went out of town for a week, and I stole them and made picture frames with pictures of her mom and the progress of the cobra build.
Here they are.
