Plasti Dip Wheels

I have some aftermarket wheels and I've pretty much decided this is the route to go. They've lost their shine and I'm thinking I'll black them out and maybe add some red accent around the outer lip. Anybody had any experience or tips? Would love to see some photos of your plasti dipped wheels for some ideas!

before and after, make sure you cover up the tires with note cards or newspaper and pop the center cap out

Looks good! I'm debating on throwing on the few coats of gloss afterward as well. I think I want just a hint of red like this: Click image for larger version

Looks good! Plasti now has the gloss made for their product (wasn't available when I did mine) and Im not sure the best way to pinstripe the red around the rim. Let me know how you do it!

I'll be sure to let you know. It may be awhile though, I'm waiting till it warms up quite a bit! I'm also gonna find an old wheel or two to test it out on before I do the real deal.

I used 2 cans for all 4 wheels and it was like 3 or 4 coats per wheel and I've only had it on for two months but its holding up pretty good . And thanks
