Rear end rebuild :(

Sadly a week after owning my car I had to have a rear end rebuild. My pinion bearing seized and all my seals blew and the casing actually cracked. Went with a ford racing rear end. Thank god it's been running strong since! Here's some pictures. Click image for larger version

ID:	144034 the day I got her back! She was gone for 2 weeks! One if our local friends is a mechanic and I would go in there and help as much as I could. Didn't get any pictures of the tear down though.

Yea, I hear ya, even though my engine and tranny probably has less than 50 miles on it who knows what will happen once I put it on the road...
Btw, on colors was also considering flat blacking it for a while just to get it on the road, what ya think??

That would work! It'll protect the paint and get it rolling! Once you get all the mechanical going right then get her painted up!
