1979 T/A

DDTCM wanted me to post a few pictures of my '79 T/A. Here's one now, I can post a few more up tomorrow evening. I don't have access to my computer right now. I also am including a couple of my '95 T/A. I know they are not Mustangs. I just love cars in general. I'm not a hater.

I love those old late 70's Birds, I had a 1979 model Trans/Am, sold it when the 1982 Mustang GT came back out...And my buddy has a 1979 Brown Trans/Am that he bought new when we were teenagers and he still has it....

Actually, it is the Pontiac 301 4-barrel. Not the quickest by any means, but I think there were only about 3000 with that motor that year. I'm the second owner. I have had it since 1989.

Mine had the 403 Olds motor in it. I bought it for $6,000 with 15,000 miles. It was a repo that ended up at a dealer. It was red and withouth the screaming chicken on the hood but the other emblems on the T/A were silver and black if I remember right and it had black interior. Never had any issues with it except one day after I changed the oil I took it out for a cruise after changing the oil and washing it and all of a sudden it lost ALL oil pressure. I thought I would die. I pulled it off the side of the road and nothing was leaking, no knocking, no nothing. Come to find out it was a bad oil pressure gauge on the dash and had to replace it...
