Lowered Picture Thread

I know there had been many discussions about lowering cars and I had posted some changes I was making and or done so I thought we could post some lowered pics and tags people have or not but here it goes.

IRS with cut stock 03 Cobra springs, don't know how many coils.
Tokico D-Spec up front and Bilsteins in rear.
Total drop is 2.5" front and 2.0" rear

Got a pic next to a car at stock ride height for reference

You wanted pics
Before:

After:

H&R Super Sports, Tokico Blue HP Shocks/Struts, Maximum Motorsports 4 bolt Caster/Camber Plates, X2 Balljoints, all isos removed in the front, uppers in the rear. ~2.1" drop in front, 1.8" drop in rear.

Not sure I want to lower the Mach that much. I want long tubes and between them and the subframe connectors I'm sure I'd scrape everything with a +2" drop.

What size are your tires if you don't mind me asking. I was thinking about getting some but can't decide what size. Stuck between 17" and 18"

My wheels are American Racing Special Edition Shelby Torque Thrust M's

17x9 in front & 17x10.5 in the rear wrapped in Sumitomo HTR Z's

fronts: 275/40/17
rears: 315/35/17

I chose the 17's over the 18's mainly because I wanted that extra .5" in the rear. At the time 18x10's were the widest option and I didn't care for the deep dish look on the 18x9's for the fronts either.

When I compare my 17" bullitts to my 18" saleens on the Mach I do think the 18's look better on these cars, less sidewall and the wheel size just looks better.

I guess it really depends on your driving situation. Trust me, unless you're putting down serious power you really don't need 315's. I sure as hell don't but I got them when I was 16 primarily for looks. They are heavy and expensive to wrap in some decent rubber. Something to keep in mind.

Thank you! She's my first car and my baby. With the Mach around she hasn't been getting driven much lately but still gets a spot in the stable out of the elements.

Installing them wasn't that hard to do. The fronts are the easiest because you take everything out together and the rears aren't as difficult if you have a hoist. If u don't careful when unloading the rear springs. Do one side at a time. After install, you'll spend some time adjusting suspension. What buddy and I did was measure and adjust on off car first so that all the coilovers were around the same height then install and fine tune from there
