Thinking about a Smart Car

Hey, Shaq can fit..I should too.

Quote:
Shaquille O'Neal buys smart car

Standing seven feet and one inches tall and weighing in at 375 pounds, Shaquille O'Neal is one big dude. Must drive a big 'ol car then, right? Umm, not exactly. The Phoenix Suns star center has recently been spotted in his newest automotive purchase, a smart fortwo. Seriously. And, surprisingly enough, he fits! Don't believe us? See above for photo proof. Well, so he sorta fits. It's a good thing that Shaq opted for the convertible, as his head comes up several inches over the top of the windshield. Oh, and we can find no real proof that the door has ever completely shut with Shaq inside. Just sayin'.

Re: Thinking about a Smart Car

I've got a six-mile, city commute. I'd rather have a Volt, but I could buy a bunch of gas with the $15,000 difference.

Re: Thinking about a Smart Car

only positive things about smart cars in my opinion is 1). The more there are, the less people there will eventually be (wrecks/deaths) thus slowing overpopulation 2). Im sure they would be fun to hit with a large 3/4 ton truck

The biggest positive I see about smart cars is that, maybe, there will be less 3/4 ton trucks on the road.

There's at least one of them running around in Huntsville. This might get expensive for you...

Re: Thinking about a Smart Car

I am afraid to drive one of them on the freeway out here. No way with all the 18 wheelers and other cars. I'd rather drive a crotch rocket on the freeway, with that i can use the car pool lane and go in between lanes when traffic is stopped (which is legal btw)

Re: Thinking about a Smart Car

My "smart car" is a USA made 08' Mustang - 245ci, 5 spd m, quiet, comfortable, seats up to 4 people & 5/5/5 safety rating . . . .

As Paris would say, "Love's it!"

Vaya con Dios.
