New Custom Car Mats

Wanted something a little different than having the standard cookie cutter mats and these right here are exactly that. My new custom floor mats up front and the rear seating area as well. The guy who makes them did a fantastic job and fell in love when I first saw his work.

The guy who makes them is and was advertising them on Facebook. First saw them on mustang FB pages but believe he makes them for other vehicles than just mustangs.

They are made out of aluminum and really nice quality. I'll post a picture of the guys info on FB so if anyone is interested you can instant message him. The guy is very honest, does what he days he is gonna go. Mats start at $150 for two front , two rear and the dead foot pedal area as well. The door will he made me does cost extra but is really neat.

Those are pretty cool!

For me though I would be slipping and slidding lol! Unless my eyes fail me but it looks to be real metal right? Not just a design on rubber.

those look Wicked cool , but I'm also wondering about grip. You're gonna have to brace yourself in with the GO pedal.

It's a good thing you got the 3.7 on the door sill and the mat, just in case you forgot ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚. Kona, I'm going to hand it to you, I believe you are a master at being different. Hopefully they don't hurt your performance by weighing 3.7 pounds each ๐Ÿ˜Ž

They are made of aluminum! From the people who have these, no one has mentioned or complained about slipping. Not sure why the pictures are all sideways and jacked up. Sorry about that

OMG, ha ha ha! OX, I didn't want to forget because the car is a rocket. I needed to remind myself that its just only a 3.7 and not a 5.0. Ha ha ha.

I think these mats bring a different look than the traditional fabric mats. They are made of aluminum so added weight should be okay. I just will stop eating for a few weeks to reduce that added weight. Lol.

Now, these do cost more than the traditional mats that AM sells. They will run $150. Granted its more but its the custom work and detail that so unique. The door sills also cost a little more. Think they add $30 dollars. So , I know $180 is a good amount for it but I think it really adds a cool and unique factor to the interior of the car. The black, silver and white pony really tie into the colors of the interior and a splash of red (dot) gives slight eye pop.

I think for semi-custom stuff (economies of scale) they're cheap.
