Resovling My Steeda Shifter Short comings

I finally got tried of reaching for 3rd gear So with the help of a fellow M.E .member Paintball John . We got it done in about 20 minutes
He came up with this solution that worked out well on his 67 Clone GT 350 T-5 Conversion
So I gave it a try. My shift handle 1/4 closer to driver 1/2 "taller and back 3/4 " No more reaching for gears I had already cut back the shifter boot When I installed the steeda (I don't like the covered up shift handle look) I still have to fix the shift boot up and get the e brake handle repainted

Did you make or or purchase the adapter?

Re: Resovling My Steeda Shifter Short comings

A buddy made the adapter. Charge me 10.00 and I spent .96 for 2 bolts and nuts with lock washer . The 2 bolts that came with the shifter were long enough to bolt the adapter to the shift handle and the 5/8 by 3/4 bolts I purchased finished the job. It's a simple but effective IMO solution No more knees in the dash board cause the handle was too short
