****If you are into collectible and custom vehicles this ‘96 Saleen Ford Windstar is one to collect. This van was designed and built by non other then TIM ALLEN from Tool Time!!!! R R R!!!****

There are a few times you can purchase a celebrity owned car, but rarely did they design it!! This is a huge opportunity for the winning bidder to get a one of a kind… AWESOME Van!

So you are asking yourself why???? Why was it built….the answer is simple:

"If a man was to drive a mini van, what would it be like?" Ford, Tim “The Tool Man Taylor”and Steve Saleen took on the task to answer the question. But, by the time the build was complete (2 years) Ford decided to change the Windstar body, thus ending the program before it got started. So in turn Tim ended up with the only one ever built. So this van is a one of one Prototype vehicle. This van would be great for a Race team or promotional use or a private collection. With Tim Allen being such a huge car guy you know this van is top notch to be in his collection!

So this is officially a one off prototype vehicle. So if you are looking to add to your collection this is a great piece. One-off prototype cars are the quickest to appreciate and often hit the million dollar mark with ease. I know it sounds weird to say that about a Windstar but this one was built by Saleen and Tim Allen!!!

How much more nameplate, performance and celebrity connection could you ask for. On top of this awesome 1 off van Tim Allen will sign the dash and take photos with the van for the new owner. This is a must have for any Tim Allen fan!!!

Vehicle is located in North Hollywood, CA.

Unlike some prototypes this one is built top notch with tons of custom irreplaceable pieces including:

Supercharged 6 cyl
One off custom hood
Flares
Front clip
Rear spoiler
Rear clip
Custom paint
Carbon fiber mirrors
Carbon fiber steering wheel
They are all hand made and one-of-a-kind
Performance
Supercharged 6 cyl
Carbon Fiber Valve Covers
4 wheel disc Saleen brakes
Suspension and shock package
Custom wheels and new tires
Stabilizer bars
Interior features
Custom gauge package
Hand made interior panels like in a Gulfstream
TV's (two fold down and rear view mirror is also a monitor
Unbelievable sound system with bluetooth through radio
Back-up camera
Swivel seats that lock in forward or backward position
Hidden fold down table that you would find in a Gulfstream
Power inverter and video game hookup with wireless headphones

Doubtful considering the saleen focus was still FWD as well as the contour.

Re: Too Good Not To Repost: Man's Minivan

True, I guess they could have used a Taurus...oh wait, nevermind.

So I'm guessing you can only hotrod sports cars...I guess that would make sense since I would hate to be a sports car owner that was completely schooled by a minivan or sedan on the way to get groceries.

Down with Tim Allen for hotrodding a Minivan!!!!! And down with Ford for hotrodding a Taurus and an F150!!!!!!!! Off with their heads!!!!!!

Get one with the turbo diesel, do a few mods and you have a gt eater without the price tag of a saleen.

easy gunner. I'm all for "originality", but I'm not sure if he could've blown Tim Allen any more in that listing.

Who cares who he may or may not be blowing in his listing, you commented on the fact that fords design problem was tim allen. That has nothing to do with the ad...

I still don't see where ford's design problem was tim allen...other than him hot rodding a non-sports car.

well,

I'd have to say it was more of a joke than anything Al. Remembering that Tim always ****ed things up on the show.

^^^ You need to spend more time inside and get out of the cold, I think it is freezing your brain cells because your statements are making less sense than usual.

I think the problem may be exactly the opposite. I spend all day inside reading research articles. 140 pages of them this week to be exact. It leaves little time to get out into the real world. Some fresh (ice cold arctic) air would certainly be refreshing.
