After getting the Jeep, you lost interest in the Mustang and sold the engine and all the swap parts off of it. Then recently, bought a Dodge diesel. Somewhere in there you also had another Ranger and another Jeep. Don't forget you are saving up for a car trailer now so hopefully you can start working on the Mustang again but will probably end up doing an axle swap under the Jeep first.

fast 64 im sure you are aware a cop car is built a whole lot better than say a regular crown vic and if a chevy they had fricking vett engines in them and the are tuned better than a street car so you shouldnt need to mod it much ive seen stock crown vic cop cars on the track pulling 11s

Re: RWD+DR's+Cold = Epic Fail

Well, my cop car was a Mustang. But, I am calling BS on stock SSP crown vics running 11s. The only difference between civilian fox Mustangs and SSP foxes is lack of a top speed limiter, a high-idle switch, different radiator hoses, and a few small other things that I'm probably forgetting.

So you believe everything someone at the track tells you about what has been done to their car?

As far as I know, thats not true. Mine had an A9L in it like many other foxes. Also, it would be simply impossible to take 4-6 seconds off of a bone stock car's ET with just a tune.

Re: RWD+DR's+Cold = Epic Fail

Where did you get that information anyway?

From Police Interceptor Comparison with civilian counterpart - Ford Crown Victoria - Zimbio

Quote:
Contrary to public perception, there are few outstanding differences between the Police Interceptor and standard civilian Crown Victorias. By and large, the Police Interceptor uses the same Ford 4.6L 2V SOHC V8 Ford Modular engine and 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission as the civilian models.

From Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quote:
There are few notable differences between the Police Interceptor and standard Crown Victoria. Both cars use the same Flex Fuel 4.6L 2V SOHC V8, Ford Modular engine and Ford 4-speed automatic transmission.
I forgot they also have an external oil cooler (mine was gone) and a certified speedometer. Seems the newer ones have a few more "heavy duty" upgrades than my Mustang, but the engines are essentially the same.

It could take your 3.8.

Don't forget I have VTEC. That in and of itself is enough to bed your women.

It's not really common knowledge, but the above picture was taken milliseconds before VTEC kicked in.

A picture taken at the exact moment VTEC kicked in actually did happen, but the photo itself was damaged beyond any recognition in the ensuing camera lens explosion/rip in the space-time continuum. This also resulted in the death of the cameraman. Luckily, the driver and car were safe due to a rapid departure from the scene of the photo. This was due, strangely, to VTEC.
