How'd you guess?

Full floater D60 rear (got it yesterday), looking for a HP44 for the front, 10-12" of wheelbase stretch, lower it an inch, raise the rockers 4", and whatever 37" tire I can get a good deal on that isn't a super swamper.

And Brent, there is a mint Georgia State Patrol fox coupe for sale down the street from work....I am very tempted to stop and look at it.

Re: Uh Oh.....

1. Expensive
2. I don't want to run a tire that big
3. I really don't want a 1000+ lb axle

Well it was pretty obvious. You had a decent setup before. Only reason to yank it out would be for something bigger and better. If I remember correctly the Cherokee's came stock with a D44 rear and a D30 or D35 front I think. Also weren't you running 35's?

Re: Uh Oh.....

My previous setup was locked D30 front/limited slip Chrysler 8.25 rear with 4.56s and 35" MTRs. Broke a handful of u-joints and axle shafts up front, no problems in the rear.

I am going leaf springs for now. I'm sure eventually the Jeep will sit on tons and coilovers or airshocks, lol.

Re: Uh Oh.....

Not really, its just a stock '04 CTD quadcab shortbed, nothing fancy.

Well, found some from the autotrader ad. Has 20% tint, Airraid intake, tonneau cover, and towing package.

Re: Uh Oh.....

I've gotten pretty consistently 17.5 mpg from mixed driving. Best I've seen is 25 or so on the highway.

Re: Uh Oh.....

Well, I was planning on running an 8-lug dana 44 in the front due to the price of a Dana 60 ($1000-1500 in junkyard condition). But yesterday I picked up a 79 F250 for $500. This truck is a snowfighter edition, meaning it had a king pin, high pinion D60 under the front
