I don't think the body lines would fit up at all, but I have been wrong from time to time

ive seen it done its not hard to do, it will sit flush from what i have seen but... it goes aginst the body lines and will look out of place/cheap so i wouldnt mess with it.

if you do decide to go though with it simply look under the hood (with out the matt, take it off) and decide the best place for the bolts to come though at, or pick a place on the hood and check that area under the hood to make sure there are no obstructiosn for the bolts to pass though.

make a cardboard template to marke each bolt hole and outline the edges of the scoop sit the card bard adn scoop on the hood and measure from the back of the scoop to the back edge of the hood on each edge of the scoop and in the middle then from each corner of the scoop to some place on the car thats the same on both sides (like where the hood corner is) and then center the front in the same manor, finally center it side to side. once you have CHECKED your measurments like 10 times lol proceed to drill the back to bolts by first taping down the template out of card board with the holes marked though the card board (sit the scoop on the card board and push it down it will punch holes that you can finish poking with an ink pin)

drill the back two, check the scoop then drill the others checking as you go, thats really it....

I hope dont think that putting that scoop on will mke it functional...The only functional mustangs hoods are the mach1's and 03-04 cobras I believe. and even if you were to cut a opening in the hood then put the scoop over it (without the plastic in it of course) That still wouldnt work because you would be getting air on and not into the motor.

The 03/04 cobra hood is functional to a point. It is supposed to be a heat extractor, but with the hood pad on..it is not functional pretty much.
