it might look ok with just the tail light cover thing but I am betting you need the whole rear the way it wraps around it

Re: Saleen DeckLid blackout

Well it seems I cant find this part. So has any one here painted their rear decklid black and took of the fake gas cap, or bought the blackout decklid trim form CDC. If so what do you think of the two?

some do stickers in black and take off the fake gas cap, cheap way to go about it and it looks fine

So I found a place that has the CDC blackout panel at a good price.so lets say I didnt like how it looked can the automovie tape (3M) come off easy or does it ruin the paint when it comes off?

That's another reason I liked the magnetic one. It's not as messy when you take it off.

If the adhesive does stay on just use a little Goof Off to get the compound off.
