1.5 DIN

I was wondering if it was possible to change my dash console so that I have a 2 Din opening instead of a 1.5?

i've never done it, but you might be able to relocate the HVAC controls to the lowermost spot (near the shifter) with that down and out of the way you could go about fashioning a double din opening up top. you'll have to modify the trim panel to fit a double din unit, you may also have to fabricate some sort of mounting brackets.

just some thoughts

Thanks for the input. I have an Alpine head unit and I want to add an indash screen without having to get rid of my radio. maybe I'll just buy the Alpine with the Cd player/dvd player/screen all in one.
