door guards

I've seen that the best way to remove these is a hairdryer and patience, but once they are off, what's the safest stuff to remove the leftover glue/gunk?

thanks in advance

All you need is a good fishing line, no hair dryer required! And then just take some car wash soap, and then wax the door were the rubber senior citizen bumper was!

This means for you Fisher and DOM...GET-R-DONE!

Why don't you just hit it with a clay bar after all this to insure a smooth surface?
